- John and I live with our 3 dogs (Jake, Abby, and Marty) and 1 cat (Zoe) in Miami, Florida. John works as a commercial real estate appraiser. I am a research psychologist. We were married February 26, 2000. In May of this year, we began the process to adopt our first child from Ethiopia and are SO excited! Veronica, I have been checking your blog all day. I am so sorry. Do they have any idea when your next court date will be? I can not imagine how heart breaking this is. We will continue to pray!

Anger and sadness is the worst combination. This stinks. I really, really hope they get the paperwork corrected by the 20th. This is agonizing. I feel so much for you all right now, and I wish I could do something. I know how helpless you feel right now. I am sending all postive thoughts your way, and I hope you get good news next week.
